I am a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Columbia's Zuckerman Mind Brain Behavior Institute, where I completed my PhD under the guidance of Elizabeth Hillman. My research focuses on functional optical imaging, neural dynamics and motor control. I believe that meaningful data analysis begins with collecting high-quality data, which is why I both generate and interpret my own.

During my PhD, I advanced in-house 2-color WFOM technology to capture cortex-wide neural dynamics across two neuronal populations in awake, behaving mice. My work uncovered network patterns embedded in the brain’s intrinsic activity, leading me to map, for the first time, a body-part-specific topography in the mouse secondary motor cortex.
