I am a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Columbia's Zuckerman Mind Brain Behavior Institute, where I completed my PhD under the guidance of Elizabeth Hillman. My research focuses on functional optical imaging, neural dynamics and motor control. I believe that meaningful data analysis begins with collecting high-quality data, which is why I both generate and interpret my own.

During my PhD, I advanced in-house 2-color WFOM technology to capture cortex-wide neural dynamics across two neuronal populations in awake, spontaneously behaving mice. My work uncovered network patterns embedded in the brain’s intrinsic activity, leading me to map, for the first time, a body-part-specific topography in the mouse secondary motor cortex.
